Bata

The young people from Cambridgeshire and Suffolk worked hard for two weeks in the summer of 2006 in the Home for Temporary Accommodation for Children- village Bata, Pomorie district.

The group that worked in the Home managed not only to do what was planned but even to help the home with many other things. The experienced leaders managed to break the ice between the children in the Home and the group. Not only the children, but evenA the staff of the Home followed the enthusiasm of the young people and took part in repainting and redecorating the whole second floor of the home. For a short time everybody became friend. Everybody felt useful, calm and the good mood was contagious.
All the young people who completed the course are now into full time employment or education.
