April

April - volunteer in that month and you will have the chance to work in the Home for children and juveniles with mental disabilities in the village of Vidrare, Pravets municipality, BULGARIA.

Situated in the peaceful and surrounded by magnificent   mountains village of Vidrare, which is only some 80km. from the capital city Sofia, the Home caters for approximately 95 children, most of which have severe physical and mental disabilities. The building of the home was built in the 50s and the yard is relatively big, including a greenhouse and a little farm as well.

Activities may include painting inside the orphanage, drawing murals in the children's bedrooms, working in the multi-sensor room etc. There is a possibility also for plenty of outdoor activities such as gardening, painting the children's playground, sport activities with the children who are able; as well as of course any form of games and interaction with the children, which can aid their social integration.

Please note that still no specific time in April has been chosen - we will do this at a later stage, trying to accommodate everyone's availability.
